The Founders - Tommy and Tammy Davis
Tommy Davis has been active in the construction industry since 1975. Starting out as a laborer at only 17 years old, he learned the profession quickly and worked his way up to a superintendent. With his wife Tammy, he took a leap of faith in 2000 and opened T E Davis Construction with just a few men (most of whom are still with us), and the rest is history!
Tommy and Tammy are actively involved in their church in Maysville and enjoy fishing and boating, antique cars, shopping (that one's mainly Tammy...), and spending time with their family, especially their 5 grandchildren.
Jason Davis
Their son, Jason has been working with the company since he was 16. He graduated in 2015 from East Carolina University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Construction Management. He currently serves as our corporate safety officer as well as in the overall supervision and management of the company.
He was married in 2018 to his wife, Rachael and they have one daughter. They are also involved in their church and have two cats, Nellie and Polly. In his spare time Jason enjoys boating, cooking, and woodworking.
Brandon Horne
Brandon was married to his wife, Andrea (Tommy and Tammy's daughter), in 2009, but his career at T E Davis began in 2005 as a concrete laborer while pursuing his degree. He eventually transitioned into a full time estimating and project managing position in 2008. He serves as our lead estimator and project manager. Brandon has a Bachelor of Science from NC State University in Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences and a Master of Public Administration from UNC Wilmington.
Brandon and Andrea have two children. He enjoys football, the outdoors, playing the guitar, raising chickens and serving at his local church in Maysville, NC.
Kelly Warren
Kelly is the daughter of Tommy and Tammy and serves as the Corporate Secretary and office manager. She has been working off and on with T E Davis since 2004, doing light paperwork tasks after school and on the weekends. Kelly graduated from UNCW with a degree in Mathematics, and was a high school teacher for 5 years until she decided to join the company full time and learn the office side of the business.
Kelly has been married to her husband, John, since 2011 and they have two children. She enjoys serving in her church, shopping, boating, traveling, and of course spending time with her children.
Donnie Humphrey
Our top man in the field, Donnie (aka "Turtle"), Tommy's nephew, started with T E Davis on day one in 2000. He quickly learned the field, and is now our general superintendent over all of our concrete projects.
Donnie is married to his beautiful wife Janet, and they have 3 daughters. He enjoys hunting, the outdoors, spending time with his family, and is actively involved in his home church in Jacksonville.
